Every now and then a very cool browser plug-in comes along and causes one to say “Wow!”. Piclens is one of those plug-ins.  Available for IE, Firefox and Safari.  I’ll say no more – just check it out and give it a whirl and then let me know in the comments what you think of it.

A group of women (“Art Gurls”) meet weekly in Abingdon,VA to collaborate on an original piece of art. One person starts the project and then passes it on to the next person in the group who can do anything they want with the piece before passing it on to the next person. Quite fascinating what comes out of these projects. My wife was one of 4 collaborators on this particular project.

WillowOur little cat “Willow” chilling. Unfortunately, Willow, now that she has been transplanted to the city, is scared out of her mind of every car that goes by on the street outside, in particular the garbage trucks. As soon as you open the door, the tail begins to swish frantically. I’m sure she wishes she was back in her familiar surroundings!
